Ha ha. No. 
I just got sick of the obnoxious whistle all the time. It wasn't loud in the cab, but it was completely unbearable outside the truck......and I do leave it running any time I'm doing something in town. I'm pretty cognizant of the things I do and how they effect other people, and having a stupid-loud truck idling away at 1200 RPM in the grocery store parking lot just makes others  .
