1. Ease of changing tunes...
The truck must be OFF>>>NO ENGINE RUNNING.... Then the tunes can be swapped with the key on only no engine run... Trucks pcm needs to be warm...cold flashing may discharge the battery or have an ill effect on the pcm...in cold conditions the use of a battery tender or running the truck before flashing is preferred.. 2. If you want to run 87 octane you'll use either levels 1 tranny or 2 87 canned tow... 3. The canned tunes only come the way they are... 4. Tranny only allows the use of any octane cause only the tranny is adjusted not the engine...
