The USB cable is a "standard" one. It has a USB mini-b plug at the Gryphon end and a standard USB A plug at the other end. If you're going to try to use it with a laptop, try to find the cable that has a "two plug" configuration at the PC end. This allows the PC to deliver more power to the Gryphon when it's plugged in.
I think you can find these at Radio Shack, or any PC electronic parts store. Here's a link to one that would work:
