The Conversation Pit
This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

However long it takes me to get from the P.R. of Albany, NY to Pendergrass, GA after the 17th of April is about when I'll be close. This is provided that the car I have affectionately named Motel Britney doesn't give me any fits. No amount of preparation can thwart all breakdowns but I've addressed all of the common failure points of a 2002 Taurus Wagon in hopes to quell the delays during a 7000 mile round trip.

Again though, Ford and their absolutely assinine torque converter apply/release strategies irritate the poop out of me.

I'm getting this nailed-down a little more accurately.

I plan (we know how plans go ) to leave Albany on the morning of the 17th. Internet map stuff says it takes 14 hours to drive 950 miles to the Pendergrass area so given pee breaks, sleep, and maybe a few short stops to "take it all in", I should be around your area by the 19th mid-day pretty easily.
