Default Noob Intro and Questions

Hey All!

2000 F250 7.3 w/114k on it (original)

Just did injector seals,
engine harness,
under valve cover harness / gaskets,
new motorcraft glow plugs,
IPR reseal,
EBPV delete w/new pedestal,
Hutch & harpoon mods,
new lift pump w/external inline filter
PCV mod w/catch cans off both valve covers.
S&B CAI

just trying to get this back to reliable (i bought it as a towed home truck - the lift pump brought it back to life) then the rest has been for preventative.

Just bought a PHP Hydra (haven't installed yet).

Question: with the few mods that might effect performance (EBPV delete - and the valve is no longer under the hood / connected to the harness plug) - are there any specific tunes that I should be looking for? I haven't looked up my pcm version yet to start hunting for tunes but check engine lights bug me.

There aren't any Hydraflash library calibrations specifically for eliminating backpressure valve deleted vehicles. If the check engine light is on just because it's unhappy about the backpressure valve solenoid being unplugged, places like RiffRaff Diesel sell a plug-and-play resistor that fools the diagnostic routine into thinking the valve is still there.

Deleting the valve has no impact on performance or tuning anyway.
