Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here. |

I set up a spread sheet to calculate my mileage averages and here's my findings:
Old mileage average for 4074 miles:15.1 Mileage average after PHP for 1565 miles: 16.7 Nice! So far the chip has saved me around $4 in fuel costs per every 200 miles driven. I've been running almost all at 80 DD setting. Any one use the 65 tow for general driving? What kind of mileage does that give? |

Nice!
What kind of driving is that, city, highway or both? Taking it easy or using the power? |

Mixed driving. I have a 20 mile one way commute, then some in town driving for work. A few road trips in there on both averages. I figure with that long of a mileage check I'll get a good mix to compare.
I keep it around 1750 rpms or so on the road as much as possible. I've always driven that way. |

I did a bunch of highway over the past weekend.
Truck was mostly empty, had maybe 400lbs in it (people included) and when I calculated mileage, I got 250 miles to 12.68 gallons = 19.7 mpg ![]() ![]() |
