Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

The only real issue we have with the Phoenix on Excursions is the PATS anti-theft system. Without being able to read the Vehicle ID block from the PCM, we have no way of enabling the PATS system with a chip.

We can either program a chip and you live without PATS (the "Theft" light will flash unless you unplug the PATS module...no big deal) or you can send us the PCM, we'll read it, then make programs using your original VID block. We don't like disabling the anti-theft system if we can help it, so we prefer you ship us the PCM.

So bypassing the pats would mean what exactly. Just no alarm? The wife drives this rig so how would you unplug the pats. i know she wouldn't want any flashing lights. I can't ship the pcm to you as it is the kid hauler right now. Thanks for the help.

I figured by your user name that you were from Montana.

Go CATS!! HA HA

By disabling the PATS system, the vehicle will start even if the ignition lock cylinder is broken into and turned with a screwdriver....it's just an anti-theft system. The PATS system will keep the engine from starting unless the correct key is used.

I am currently in Georgia working for PHP doing 7.3L tuning. I'll be going back home in September for the winter. Reed Point is about 60 miles west of Billings on I-90.

I have to go back for the winter or my pipes will freeze. The only heat I have is wood and I have to be there to babysit the huge insert fireplace and one small stove.

I'll be back next spring.

Oh and about the Cat/Griz thing....I don't like sports anyway and don't pay any attention. I thought I would just get a good razzin' out of you.

I think i can afford to bypass it in big sky countryIt would be nearly impossible for me to ship you the pcm from my wifes baby. is there something else you would recommend to me other than the phoenix? I really liked the on the fly capabilities?
