Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Put it to the test

I have not had any issues and have been very happy with my Phoenix. We just returned from Glacier National Park, a 2400 mile round trip pulling a 10k 5th wheel between 65-70 mph the entire way with the A/C on. I pulled 12.77mpg round trip with the chip set at 65T. I was very happy with that. I did end up with two issues if anyone has any ideas.

1st issue- while pulling hard up hill prior to kicking down, the truck sounds like maybe the wastegate is maybe starting to move and sticking? Almost feels like maybe some turbo surge. Once the truck kicks down, it sounds and runs fine. When this would happen, the emissions light would come on for a while. Truck would run fine after this. Checked for codes when I returned home. None listed.

2nd issue- Went to fill the tank when I returned home. Set the chip at 80DD. Left the station and put it to the floor. The truck started off like a rocket, spit out 5 times the smoke it did any other time. Then it fell on its face of about a 1 second and took off again. It acted like someone turned the fuel off for a second.

Parked it at home and found a puddle of oil under it today. Took it to the shop, pulled everything off the top except the turbo and can not see any leak. Sprayed it down with brake cleaner to start out clean and will put it back together tomorrow and check for a leak.

Any help or advice would be great. Thank you
