The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it! |

chroming factory rims
My dad gave me the idea the other day about, instead of buying after market rims just having my factory rims sent off and having them chromed. ( i have the spare set that i am currently tring to sell to put on while they are sent off )
Do you guys think that this would work and look good How much do you estimate it would cost? they are 20" rims off the 2009 F150 Fx4 the attachment isnt the greatest but its a picture.

Are they alloy rims that you are thinking of plating?
I was wondering if anyone had had a set polished? As I look at the after market rims I don't find anything I really like over my '04 stock 18"s except shine. I never thought of plating. That could work. Let me know what you find and the results. Please. Thanks |
