Default what is included with custom tunes?

Do the custom tunes include setting up the shift points, rev limiter, and all the other settings that are included? I currently have and Evo and I am clueless on how to setup all the extra settings. Can any provide input to get the maximum out of my Evo. I am eventually going to upgrade to a Gryphon but I have to save up my money. Please help!!

Bill will set your shift points and rev limiter when he writes your custom tunes. You can change them if you like, but, keep in mind that:
1. The torque converter starts to balloon at 5400 rpm.
2. The WOT shift needs to be commanded at least 400 RPM below the max RPM to work properly. (I'd give it more room than that).
3. You're going to get a pretty good dropoff in HP and torque after about 5000 RPM, so it's pointless to try to shift higher than that.

Hey for $35 + $50 + $(s+h)=A pretty great deal since you already have the edge!

$35= upgrade price including the black gryphon case.
$50= one custom file 87 oct perf(what most get)

Not to mention great mints when you get the box back.

Also great customer service.

Just trying to help.

X2 what Jack said and adding in that if you make changes do them in little increments it's easier this way.
Use a note pad to remember what you thought was best.

Thanks!!! I am definitely considering the upgrade. Hopefully within a week or two. Can anyone tell me if I send my Evo in for the upgrade, will I get the Gryphon right back with the canned tunes and the custom tunes will be sent later or will the whole unit stay until the custom tunes are complete?

If upgrade is same as new purchase, you will get Gryphon with canned tunes. Custom tunes will be available for download from there server when you get your HEX code and send it to Bill, then when he gets them done for you.

We can do it either way, but we currently do the upgrade and the custom tunes at the same time in order to avoid having to mutli-handle the files and everything.
