Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here. |

"they say"? Who says? You CAN run that program, but you'll never see that kind of additional power (and don't feel too bad because the 99.5-03 guys can't either). |

'94 to '97 and early '99 Power Stroke and International trucks are fitted with smaller volume injectors than the late '99 and up Super Duty trucks, and as such are limited to increases of about 65 HP for the '94 to '97 and 100 HP for the early '99. Some trucks, depending on tolerances, may be able to utilize up to 80 HP and 120 HP respectively, but we cannot guarantee that the power gains will be achieved. Trucks with modified injectors are not subject to these restrictions.
this is straight from the website. i am taking it as if the most you can go for a early 99 is 100HP |

Bill won't sell you a tune that will knowingly hurt your truck, so he doesn't offer them unless you have injectors that can handle that much fuel in the time that it needs to be injected. If you want to run it you would need different injectors, and maybe a new turbo, but I don't know about that. Hope that helps. |

Heck, I get orders ALL THE TIME for people with stock 95-97 trucks that have 120R/140X listed (and we don't even make those tunes for those trucks). It's a breath of fresh air to see that somebody actually read the website before ordering.
We offer a 120R and 140X for the E99 trucks. In all honesty though, none of the 99.5-03 trucks run any stronger than an E99 trucks by the seat-of-the-pants dyno. |

( hope yah get better) .. so im just wondering if there is anyone i can talk to via phone. i called and called and no one answer. back to the point. i have replace all the injectors but stock, got a wicked wheel and removed the EBPV from the turbo so she breaths better. and a boost fooler. |

I was told on the phone the Injectors can only supply so much fuel. They will be wide open and only produce 100 hp. All the 120 will do is hold the injectors wide open and performance will not increase for the early 99s.

I disable PMs because it keeps correct information on the forum and helps prevent the spread of FMD (forum misinformation disease).
We sell 120/140 calibrations for the E99-2003 trucks. Do the trucks benefit from them? No. Usually the pulse width becomes so high that injection pressure drops like a rock and all they do is smoke and cause high EGT. There is ZERO reason to order a performance calibration in excess of 100 HP on a stock-injector'd E99-2003 truck. The 120 and 140 calibrations are written (and named as such) because it helps keep track of low boost fuel changes and pulse width changes without making up absurdly long names for various 100 HP calibrations. The ridiculous lope idle programs are written on 65 HP programs for the 95-97 trucks and 120 or 140 HP programs for the E99-03 trucks (no rhyme or reason as to which ones except the 2002-2003 trucks that are limited to 120 HP programs because of the nearly guaranteed presence of powdered metal connecting rods). However, the 95-97 trucks are a hit-and-miss deal with the lope because of the wide variances in high pressure oil system condition and the fact that single shot injectors are a lot more finicky with the programming to lope reliably/decently. |
