Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

yeah...I want to get an ICON Hanger kit with the adj track bar too to give me just a little more travel up front, but not sure if the wife is going to let me do that now...

Any ideas on a good place to order that through?

Might check it out.

Ok, got done with my first commute. It was early in the morning and I started it in stock, then dropped it into 1000rpm mode for the warm up.

When I was ready to go, the needle hadn't moved on the dash so I dropped it back to stop and pulled away.

I got to a stop light and saw that the temp was finally rising, so I switched it to 1000 rpm (in drive)...Truck almost pulled into the street

Switched it to 45 tow for the drive to the freeway...and again it felt like the truck was light and running really good.

Got onto the freeway, which was a pleasant suprise. Not the normal lay on the gas and not a lot happens, there was a nice acceleration for the amount I pressed into it.

Got her up to 60 and switched it to 80 dd.
From there i noticed the truck responds to throttle input. Before it responded to throttle "movement". You had to move the throttle an inch or two before you would accelerate. Now you squeeze the throttle a little and the needle starts rising on the speedo!

Beautiful. There was traffic all over and we were doing 70, so I decided to just say screw it and cruise. After all, I hadn't had my coffee yet from the evil empire and I would hate to crash this thing when I just got it chipped.

So if there is anyone out there that doesn't tow super heavy, I'd recommend the settings I picked up. It is great yet still gives you the options of hooking up to something big when your buddies call.

Another couple days and I will have MPG reports...fingers crossed..my new to me ARE DCU camper shell ost me 1 mpg

Alright, driving the backroads today going home. Needless to say, where I work can be the wild west...quite literally.
I had it in the 80 dd mode and needed to floor it while doing about 15 mph (on slow acceleration on a recently turned green light) to avoid being T-boned (red lights mean nothing in some parts) Truck bogged down. Felt like it flooded or on a gasser, super retard of the ignition.

And as I do on gassers if this happens, I popped off the throttle and then jumped right back on. Slow spool up then the acceleration.

Will that IDM mod help me out with this? Also, will a 38r spool up noticeably faster?

When you stabbed the throttle did it kick down a gear?

Ever check things like fuel pressure under load, or for leaking up-pipes?
